This Luminaire range has an encapsulated choke potted into a bright anodised spun aluminium pot, thereby reducing the temperature of the coil and greatly increasing the Ballast life.

The terminal and capacitor / ignitor chamber is situated on top of the choke, away from the heat of the choke and lamp, thereby eliminating the need for a special high temperature supply cable.

The lampholder has an anti-vibration device to prevent a faulty connection developing. The high purity bright anodised spun aluminium reflector incorporates a heat tempered armour plate glass carried in a

silicone seal. This assembly is spun into the reflector to form an integral unit.

The unit is re-lamped at the junction between the reflector and lampholder canopy. This prevents the ingress of dust and moisture. Heat resistant teflon wiring is used throughout.

A heavy hot dip galvanised bracket assembly is supplied to allow the unit to be used as a floodlight. IP rating IP 66.
