Body: Formed from 304 Stainless Steel, and the control gear cover acts as a reflector. The reflector is secured by means of two stainless steel butterfly nuts.
Wing: Formed from 304 stainless steel.
Lampholders: Twist lock, one end spring loaded the other fixed.
Lampholder End Cap: The lampholders are clipped into an injection moulded end cap to hold the lamps securely in position. To relamp, the lampcap is notched to allow for easy access to the lampholders.
Stainless Steel End Cap: A stainless steelend plate can be fitted to protect the plastic lampholder end cap from possible vandalizing.
Control gear options: Switch start: starters are through the side of the body.
Electronic: a full range of electronic chokes are available for the 36 and 58watt, but it is suggested that the Nordland encapsulated electronic ballast be used as this would prevent any chance of condensation building up on the PC Board, with a possible flash over, due to the high voltage present between circuits.
Emergency: These fluorescent luminaires can be fitted with inverter charger and battery back up, to operate one lamp in the maintained mode.
Mounting: Two bosses are stamped into the back of the luminaire with a 5mm central hole.
Entries: Provision is made for a knockout at either end. The body is punched with a centre rose to match a standard outlet box.
